Just as you’d expect from the oldest inn in Galtür (a tax office assessment mentions a date of 1600), the Rössle is steeped in history – and stories. Despite the hard times it experienced down through the centuries, the Rössle never lost sight of its most fundamental task: that of being an open house for the villagers and travellers from far and wide. What’s more, despite the many building conversions and external changes it has been through, the Rössle always maintained its honest, upright pace in the reins of its landlords. And it is to this task that we – the fifth generation of our line – are happy to dedicate ourselves with the greatest of care and responsibility, in the full knowledge that when all is said and done, it is our guests who also make the Rössle an extraordinary establishment – and that makes us feel proud. We look forward to you enriching this fine tradition!

Accept our invitation to an afternoon snack: a succulent slice of plum flan, a sandwich made with delicious local mountain cheese – a different treat every day. Enjoy relaxing in our sumptuous spa suite. A nice and soft bathrobe is available in your room – free, of course.

Select your main course from our menu. We offer a 4-course menu for you to choose from, a salad buffet and, last but not least, a cheese buffet. Food at the Rössle consists of light, genuine and subtle fare which makes wonderful use of locally-sourced produce such as the herbs from our very own herb garden. Good food should be authentic, clear and honest – that’s the firm philosophy of our chef de cuisine, Martin Türtscher.
ONCE A WEEK
... enjoy a tremendous buffet with all sorts of tempting treats in winter... or sample the delights of the Paznaun Gourmet Region at the Rössle. Our chef de cuisine Martin Türtscher is proud to introduce you to the produce of our region in an exclusive 5-course dinner. In summer we offer a barbecue on our sundeck.
